You made it.

Call me Raebert. Welcome to my home. Must have taken you some work to find this. Welcome. Make yourself comfortable.

This is my house.

No, I’m not rich. I’m a writer. Most of us don’t make any money.

This is me.

No, I’m not young and handsome. ButI can fake it for you.

I’ve got one of those magic AI programs that take the selfie you give them and turn it into someone that will be attractive on the Internet. See? My avatar.

They kept the beard and the shirt and the blue sky window.
The rose? I’ll take it. It’s helpful to look approachable, right?

I have a workshop where I am the moment, working on this. Just so you can picture me there, writing my stories.

Stories are everything. Everyone has a story. What life is when you think about it, you writing the story of your passage through the tunnel called time and how you confront, overcome, or fall victim to the obstacles in your way. Why is it worthwhile? Because you get to experience things along the way, with your senses and the mind that processes those experiences into emotions, thoughts, memories, lessons, accomplishments, whatever you want to call the sum.

Some of the most rewarding experiences we can have are the stories we encounter about other people’s lives, real and imagined. What you’re doing right now, the story that brought you here, to explore a mystery that keeps changing its faces and sensations around you.
